About Us

Our goal at Four is to stimulate the taste buds and create an emotional reaction, as we believe that an excellent meal should be a moving experience.  With a caring staff that will treat you like family, we strive to provide our guests with an atmosphere that is elegant yet comfortable.

We use fresh local ingredients prepared with flawless technique by Chef Simon Lampert. When combined, you are left with an experience that will have you coming back for more! (we hope)

Why the name Four? French for oven, Four represents not only the foundation of cooking, but also the heart, mind, body and soul for all of Chef Simon’s delectable creations.

 

Chef Simon's cooking style is as unique as his background.  His interest in food began at home watching his Belgian mother cook everything from scratch.   He spent the summers of his youth in Quebec where he was influenced by the local cuisine.  After college Simon began working in restaurants where he gained experience with different kinds of cuisine including French, Asian, Italian and contemporary American.  He blends all of these influences with his own imagination and individuality to create the menu at Four.

Our concern for the environment has inspired some eco-friendly choices in the construction of our restaurant.

Bamboo Flooring - Bamboo is a highly renewable resource, harvestable only four to six years after being planted. Bamboo is also extremely durable and very easily maintained.

Cloth Hand Towels - By not using paper towels in the restrooms we help save trees and eliminate waste.

Recycled Chairs - We refurbished and refinished old chairs to save resources and cut down on waste.

Local Food - Eating locally helps support local economies, cuts down on fuel consumption and, of course, tastes phenomenal!
